Duquesne Dollars

New 2008-2009:

Eliminate the need to carry cash and coins, new this year is Duquesne Dollars (formerly Virtual Cash).  Load prepaid funds onto your DU Card using the new PHIL stations around campus.

There are 3 PHIL stations located on Campus:

  • Gumberg Library (fourth floor near the copy machines)
  • Law Library (entrance level near the copy machines)
  • Student Union 2nd Floor (to be installed Sept. 2008)

Simply insert your DU Card right side up with your picture first, into the PHIL Station, then place bills into the bill acceptor ($1, $5, $10, and $20s) – It’s cash on your card!!  You can load as much cash as you like but the minimum amount able to be added is $1.00.

Duquesne Dollars is accepted in the following locations:

  • Forbes Avenue Parking Garage- discounts apply for this location
  • Barnes & Nobel Bookstore-use Duquesne Dollars to pay for your books this semester
  • All Dining Facilities Across Campus-including Starbucks and the Hogan Dining Center
  • Copy Machines-Discounts apply for copy locations
  • Vending Machines- Coming in 2009

Coming in September 2008- Check your account balance and print your Duquesne Dollars Statement on-line.

Duquesne Dollars is non-refundable.
